Paul Shetler
Chief Executive Officer, Digital Transformation Office

The Australian Government appointed Mr Paul Shetler as the Chief Executive Officer for the Digital Transformation Office (DTO) in July 2015. Paul has 20 years’ experience leading complex IT and business transformation projects, most recently as an executive at the UK’s Government Digital Service (GDS) and as Chief Digital Officer for the UK Ministry of Justice. Under Paul’s leadership, the Ministry of Justice delivered four of the UK Government’s 25 digital transformation exemplars.

Special Adviser, Business Transactions Reform
Victorian Department of Premier and Cabinet

Jo was appointed Special Adviser, Business Transactions Reform in the Victorian Department of Premier and Cabinet, a role designed to lead priority work relating to how government does business and interacts with citizens. Jo is currently leading the establishment of Service Victoria, a new agency that will provide a whole of government  approach to service delivery.

Founder and Managing Partner, Adventure Capital

Stuart is Founder and Managing Partner of Adventure Capital, an early-stage technology venture fund, Co-Founder of Aurelius Digital, York Butter Factory and Equiem, and an investor, advisor, board member and mentor to numerous entrepreneurs and their early-stage technology businesses.

Tom Burton
The Mandarin

Tom is the Publisher of The Mandarin, a digital venue for Australia’s public sector leaders. Tom has been working at the intersection of media, government and technology for over 30 years, including senior roles at The Australian Financial Review and The Sydney Morning Herald. Tom will moderate the panel discussion.
