Join Sarah Ferguson, the multiple Walkley Award winning journalist for this year’s International Women’s Day breakfast in Canberra. Sarah will share her insights on empowering women and tackling issues including domestic violence, forced marriages for girls and gender inequality.

Sarah, an ABC journalist and Four Corners presenter, has written and presented the acclaimed three-part documentary on the Rudd-Gillard years, The Killing Season; and the two-part documentary series on Australia’s domestic violence crisis, Hitting Home.

Sarah’s career as journalist and documentary maker has spanned the UK, France, and the United States. In Australia she worked for SBS on the Dateline and Insight programs and then on the Sunday program on Channel 9.

Since joining the ABC Sarah has won a number of awards including five Logies for Most Outstanding Public Affairs Report, three Walkley Awards and the Gold Walkley in 2011 for the Four Corners’ piece A Bloody Business, the Melbourne Press Club Gold Quill in 2013 and the Queensland Premier’s Literary Award in 2009.
