The National Security College invites you to join us for our next graduate studies information session.

Our academic team, led by Associate Professor Matthew Sussex, will be on hand to outline the courses, explain the options and provide you with tailored advice. You will have the opportunity to meet the Head of College, Professor Rory Medcalf, as well as current students and alumni, who will offer personal perspectives. We’ll work with you to explore which degree and combination of courses best suits your needs.

With a Master of National Security Policy, you will gain a unique, in-depth understanding of the security challenges that confront countries in our region and the world.

Our degrees develop graduates who have a comprehensive understanding of the traditional and non-traditional national security issues facing Australia, the Indo-Pacific and the world. Join the network of experienced national security scholars, practitioners and policy-makers in Australia’s capital. With a graduate qualification from the National Security College, you will benefit from:

  • multidisciplinary approaches focused on applied policy-making
  • unique courses such as cyberspace, biological weapons, transnational terrorism and crime
  • Masters and Advanced Masters programs
  • access to experts and senior officials
  • collaborative networking, career and academic support
  • merit-based scholarships.
