Governments should compare it to the common flu, there is no real treatment for the common flu, flu vaccinations change each year and have varying effects. Governments need to stop causing people to panic. Economies are worsening due to unnecessary panic. The elderly and sick are more vulnerable as they are to the common flu. Stop the panic!

There are some rumours that Coronavirus (COVID-19) is a laboratory cultivated biological pathogen? It is alleged the pathogen was smuggled into mainland China? Presumably from an overseas laboratory?
These rumours may be fake news and are unconfirmed. But can we be certain?
Other countries, apart from Australia, have closed their borders to Chinese tourists, students, diplomats and business visitors. For instance the 2,600 km border with Russia has been closed. Australia should not be singled out or even thought as racist. Some one million diaspora Chinese-Australians have been welcomed to Australia. They have taken community positions, become parliamentarians and provided leadership to our democratic society.

There are definitely interest groups that benefit from the conflict between the West and China. An obvious example is the nationalists from both sides. Such conflict is inevitable and hopefully it would not cause another havoc in human history.
