Yes I agree with your very insightfull article. I think we PNG should give full support to our west brothers crying for liberty, enough of sitting and watching our brothers suffering just right in front of our door step. In all works of life, let us work together. Because we’re one in cultural, social political diversity we are none like Indonesians. UN and US should have responded but they turn blind eyes, the only reasons is they don’t want to involve in political affairs of Asian countries it’s quite anti-liberal or communism.

Why as the world turn a blind eye, Indonesia people is totally different from Papuan people how can a people gain independent then a another country run in an colonised them,and in 1969 when in this time period all the European colonial master was decolonising is it because of political benifit why United nation don’t resolve it,i hope the new USA administration will change it ,???

Your article is an excellent document for anyone who wishes to know the background of the plight of the West Papuan people.
There are still many who don’t know due to various reasons but surely ignorance should not a be a reason as a Melanesian brother.
