You should have divided the period for analysis .before 2014 and after 2014 because there were fundamental changes in economic policies of two govts I.e. Congress and BJP. You cannot measure the impact of taxation policies in one year. It needs a time span to analyse
the impact. You are forgotting that India has the largest middle class population in the world. India’s main problem is how to control rising population . Unfortunately, there is no definite population control policy in this country as things are left only to individual families. If population growth is control, poverty issues can be overcome easily. Hopefully, under make in India programme, India is moving towards self -reliance and situation is expected to improve further. Today.
