China’s double-talk, however, worked and were able to construct a number of artificial islands equip with military capability. It’s pretty late for the US to stop China now to further strengthen their fortresses in the South China Sea. This could have been prevented if they have sent their battleships at least even after the standoff between China and the Philippines on Scarborough Shoal. US is all words and more of a showoff in their approach in the South China Sea. The Philippine’s present administration under President Duterte knows it well and therefore preferred a bilateral talk to China, rather than fight China on the merits of Hague Tribunal’s decision. If US approach will not change and if they can’t secure their ally countries like the Philippines, the tide in the South China Sea will shift strongly in favor of China as China grows much more stronger economically and militarily.

It should take the lead in creating PAX SINO in this part of the world.
