Hemant Shivakumar is a National Parliamentary Fellow from India visiting the Australian National University in Canberra where he is conducting research on the development aid policies of donors in the Pacific Island States. Previously, he was a research associate with the Centre for Policy Research in New Delhi, examining South Asian affairs and the aid strategies of emerging donors like India and China in South Asia. He is a LAMP Fellow and has provided policy advice to parliamentarians from India and Australia.
